Who We Are

We are family! Pets, kids, and the community. Dogtoberfest EAV (East Atlanta Village) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to showcasing the various ways each of us can be a responsible and loving pet owner. In addition, we help with raising much-needed funds for local pet rescue organizations.

What We Advocate For

  • Pet wellness
    • Vaccinations
    • Spay/Neuter
    • Healthy Diet
  • Being good neighbors
    • Picking up after your pet
    • Having pets on a lease
    • Interacting politely with other pets
    • Safe child–pet interactions
  • Promoting neighborhood lost and found to reunite pets with their family quickly

What Do We Do

Dogtoberfest EAV is a celebration of friends and family, both human and animal, to raise funds to help our local rescue groups make the world a better place.

The festival includes:

  • Canine costume contest
  • Pet adoptions with local rescue groups
  • Vendors for all your pet’s needs
  • Raffle prizes
  • Delicious eats and treats for pet and their families

Proceeds from the event are donated to a local animal rescue group to assist in their life-saving work.

Join us each October for Dogtoberfest, an informative and fun neighborhood festival promoting responsible pet ownership with resources (like vets, trainers, dog walkers, and more) to help our pets live long and healthy live as valued members of the EAV community.
